Hearing notifications

Hearings of the ºÚÁÏÉç of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia are open to the public except where, upon application by one of the parties involved, it is determined that the proceedings, or part thereof, should be closed.

Hearing notifications include

  • the full name of the registrant and their location(s) of practice,
  • a summary of the citation, and 
  • the date, time and location of the hearing.

Hearing notifications will not include identifiers of the complainant or any other third parties.

Discipline committee hearings

There are currently no scheduled hearings.

Request to attend hearings

Observers must read and agree to the observer policy.

To attend a hearing, registration is required. Details on how to register will be provided here when there is an upcoming hearing.

Disciplinary actions are listed here for ten years and remain on the public record in perpetuity
