Ordering and following up on tests is a common and important part of patient care. It is important for physicians and surgeons to manage tests, and for patients to know why tests are important for their health.
The ºÚÁÏÉç is seeking public input to learn about the experiences and expectations patients have in relation to physicians and surgeons managing test results.
This feedback will help shape the ºÚÁÏÉç’s practice standard, Managing Tests, and determine whether a separate patient resource may be necessary.
