Postgraduate residents enrolled in family medicine, specialty and subspecialty training programs at the UBC Faculty of Medicine, and postgraduate residents from other universities wishing to complete an elective in British Columbia (BC) must be registered with the .

Postgraduate resident

For postgraduate residents enrolled in family medicine or one of the 77 specialty and subspecialty training programs at the UBC Faculty of Medicine.

Postgraduate residents who meet certain criteria may be authorized to provide supplementary services, under supervision, for patients receiving a service within a health authority in a clinical academic centre affiliated with the UBC Faculty of Medicine. They may also use the title “resident – clinical associate” during this time.
