Join a ºÚÁÏÉç committee

British Columbians are invited to contribute their knowledge, skills and expertise by sitting as members of ºÚÁÏÉç committees. All ºÚÁÏÉç committees are comprised of registrant and public members. Committee members are integral to ensuring the ºÚÁÏÉç delivers on its mandate to protect the public through effective regulation of the medical profession. They help maintain public confidence in ºÚÁÏÉç proceedings and ensure standards are being met.

The ºÚÁÏÉç is committed to diversity, equity and inclusion. At this time we are actively seeking applicants from the following priority groups:

  • Indigenous individuals, including First Nations, Inuit and Métis
  • Individuals with lived experience as a member of a historically underrepresented community (e.g. racialized individuals, persons with disabilities, persons who identify as 2SLGBTQ+)

The ºÚÁÏÉç currently has vacancies for both public and registrant members. The list of committees with vacancies as well as detailed information about selection criteria, duties and time commitments, compensation, and terms of appointment is available here. The closing date for applications is April 12, 2024.
