In October 2021, the ºÚÁÏÉç began the process of developing a new brand, including replacing the crest, a distinctly colonial symbol, with a new logo that reflects the ºÚÁÏÉç’s current-day values of accessibility and inclusivity for all British Columbians.
The September/October 2022 issue of the ºÚÁÏÉç Connector featured an update from registrar and CEO, Dr. Heidi Oetter, on the first phases of the project, including a summary of the valuable feedback received from registrants.
After extensive research on the current perceptions of registrants, health partners and members of the public, the ºÚÁÏÉç worked with a creative agency, Will Creative, to develop an internal brand strategy to guide the evolution of a new logo that visually depicts equality, inclusivity and progress.
The new brand will be unveiled on April 26, 2023.
