New books―focus on ebooks for women’s health

The library's physical and virtual shelves are full with an influx of new books. The topics cover a broad range of specialties and topics from clinical (e.g. Endocrine emergencies) to systems-focused (e.g. Hospital-based injury and violence prevention programs) to medico-legal (e.g. Challenging bias in forensic psychological assessment and testing).

Women's health is relevant in all specialties, and new electronic books available in the library that address the health-care needs of women and girls include:

  • Impact of polycystic ovary, metabolic syndrome and obesity on women health: volume 8: frontiers in gynecological endocrinology
